LAN Send · Android ↔ Windows

Transfer files between Android and Windows without a cloud detour.

Cloud drives and messaging apps are useful when devices are far apart. When your Android phone and Windows PC are beside each other, a local transfer can remove the upload-and-download step.

What “without cloud upload” means here.

LAN Send is built so supported transfer content travels between your paired Android and Windows devices over the local network. RTEK Labs does not operate a cloud relay or cloud file-storage service for those everyday transfers.

This is not the same as saying the app never uses the internet for anything. Downloading the apps, visiting the website or other platform services can involve internet connectivity. The distinction is the transfer path for the content you send between paired devices.

When local transfer makes sense.

Local transfer is particularly useful when both devices are on the same trusted network and you want to move screenshots, documents, photos, text, URLs or clipboard content without first uploading them to a messaging conversation or cloud drive.

If the devices are on different networks or you need remote access, a cloud service may be the more appropriate tool. LAN Send is deliberately focused on nearby Android ↔ Windows handoff.

How it works.

  1. Install LAN Send on Android and Windows.
  2. Connect both devices to the same trusted local network.
  3. Pair them with the QR code shown by LAN Send.
  4. Send supported content directly to the paired device.

See the detailed Android-to-PC Wi-Fi guide or our help page for setup information.
