LAN Send · Android ↔ Windows

Send files from Android to your PC over Wi-Fi.

When your phone and Windows PC are already on the same trusted network, LAN Send gives you a focused way to move content between them without turning the transfer into a chat message or cable workflow.

How to send Android files to a PC wirelessly.

  1. Install LAN Send on your Windows PC and Android phone.
  2. Put both devices on the same trusted Wi-Fi or local network.
  3. Pair the phone with the PC using LAN Send's QR pairing.
  4. Choose the file on Android and send it to the paired PC.
  5. Open the received file from the Windows inbox.

Why use Wi-Fi instead of a USB cable?

A cable is useful for large manual file-management jobs, but it adds a physical connection and often means browsing phone storage. LAN Send is aimed at frequent, smaller handoffs: a screenshot, PDF, photo, document, link or piece of text you want on the other device now.

LAN Send also works in both directions, so the same pairing can be used for Windows → Android transfers.

Does LAN Send upload the file to the cloud?

LAN Send's transfer path is local: supported content is sent between the paired devices over the local network rather than uploaded to RTEK Labs cloud storage. Because of that design, both devices need to be reachable on the same local network for normal transfers.
